Pascal Mourgue (1943–2014) was a French designer whose career spanned furniture, lighting and sculpture. Trained at École Boulle and the École Nationale Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs in Paris, he developed furniture with equal consideration for function, appearance and the realities of production.

Pascal Mourgue studied at École Boulle and the École Nationale Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs in Paris before beginning his career in furniture design in the late 1960s. Over several decades, he worked with French manufacturers including Cinna and Fermob, developing furniture for both domestic and outdoor settings.
Mourgue approached furniture as an industrial designer, considering function and appearance alongside how successfully a design could be manufactured and brought to market. His work was recognised with the Grand Prix National de la Création Industrielle in 1996, one of France's significant honours for industrial design.
