Rugs that live with you

These rugs sit quietly enough for your kids to play on, or for your brunch to spill. Drop one in the living room and maybe team it up with a few other items from around our homewares collection. If you’re wondering what fits your space or what's best for pets or toddlers, just drop us a line—we’ll help you sort it, no drama.  You’ll find lots of handwoven wool, hardwearing jute, soft viscose blends and flatweaves to ground a room. We picked out patterns that feel genuine and not over-thought: low-key geometrics and soft fades.

This isn’t just about top looks. We pick rugs that handle real life, not photo shoots. Wool rugs resist spills and pull-back, jute brings that weathered charm, viscose tones down sheen without throwing the room off. Rugs in multiple sizes help anchor couches, runners guide traffic, and flatweaves layer beautifully.

Built to take life’s small messes and big moments

Whether you’re styling a breakfast nook or an alfresco room, a rug ties paths together. Add one in front of the sofa, beside the bed, or centre it under the coffee table and watch a space come together without fuss.

Frequently Asked Questions

What’s the best rug material if you’ve got pets or kids?

Wool is your friend here. It hides footprints, softens noise, and bounces back from spills if you blot early. Flatweaves do well in high-traffic zones too. If you want texture that doubles as charm, jute's low-maintenance but needs sweeping not wet mopping. If you need help picking the right one for your setup, just get in touch.

How do I choose the right rug size for my space?

Check your furniture layout first: ideally the rug should tuck under the front legs of your sofa or anchor your coffee table. In tight hallways, a runner keeps things neat. Room underlay adds grip and plushness. If you’re sorting layout or colour, pop over to our Contact Us page and we can help figure scale and fit with you.

Can designer rugs go in direct sunlight or near doors?

They can, but expect a bit of change over time. Direct sun can soften colours or fade certain dyes, especially in richer shades, while heavy traffic near doors might flatten fibres faster. Rotating the rug every few months evens out wear and keeps one side from ageing quicker than the other. Flatweaves and low-pile rugs generally cope better with sunlight and movement, since there’s less fibre height to crush and less to bleach out. If your rug sits in a particularly bright spot, consider sheer curtains to soften the light, or layer a smaller mat at the doorway to take the brunt of dirt and scuff.
