Founded in Denmark in 1987, Cane-line has built its design philosophy around a simple idea: Life made comfortable. Comfort informs more than how the furniture feels to sit in. It extends to proportion, function, materials and how each piece performs outdoors, bringing Scandinavian design principles to furniture created for dining, gathering and lounging outside.
Material development plays an important role in this approach. Weather-resistant Cane-line Weave is used across many of the brand's woven designs, while QuickDry & Airflow technology helps cushions drain and dry efficiently after rain. Aluminium, outdoor textiles, soft rope and other materials are selected across the collection according to the form and function of each piece. Together, these materials allow Cane-line to create outdoor furniture with the visual character and comfort often associated with interior spaces, while addressing the practical demands of changing weather.
Huset's Cane-line collection is centred on outdoor dining and lounging, extending across chairs, sofas, stools, sun loungers, side tables, bar furniture and trolleys. Designs by Strand + Hvass, Foersom & Hiort-Lorenzen, Welling/Ludvik and Rikke Frost bring different expressions to the range, from the light woven structure of Breeze to the softer forms of Peacock and Ocean. Across these collections, comfort, material and function remain closely connected.
