Meet The Designer
Andreas Lund & Jacob Rudbeck
Danish designers Andreas Lund and Jacob Rudbeck created the Bell pendant around the recognisable shape of a bell. Its generous silhouette, matt aluminium shade and contrasting rubber detail give the design a strong presence, while the white interior directs light downwards for practical illumination.
Andreas Lund & Jacob Rudbeck: Bold Form, Focused Light
Andreas Lund and Jacob Rudbeck bring different design backgrounds to their collaborative work. Lund graduated from the Danish Design School, while Rudbeck studied at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts, School of Architecture. The two began collaborating on selected projects after meeting through their teaching work.
Their Bell pendant transforms the familiar bell silhouette into a large-scale lighting form. A rounded aluminium shade gives the pendant its distinctive profile, while the junction between the cord and shade is deliberately emphasised through the contrast of soft rubber and smooth metal. The white interior reflects light downwards in a concentrated cone, combining a strong visual presence with practical illumination.
