Atle Tveit is an Oslo-based furniture designer with a master's degree in Furniture & Spatial Design from KMD in Bergen. His practice centres on furniture for domestic and public environments, developed in close collaboration with furniture manufacturers and other designers.
Atle Tveit: A Focus on Furniture
Atle Tveit has concentrated his career on furniture design. After completing a master's degree in Furniture & Spatial Design in Bergen in 2006, he established his own design practice while teaching design at KMD for seven years. Today, Atle Tveit Design is based in Oslo.
Collaboration is an important part of Tveit's practice. He works closely with manufacturers and other designers to develop furniture for domestic and public settings, bringing design and production considerations together throughout the development process.
