Tristan Lohner's foundation in fine woodworking continues to inform his approach to industrial design. He trained under Bernard Daude, a cabinetmaker for Pierre Paulin at Mobilier National, before studying at the École des Arts Décoratifs in Paris. His work begins with the purpose a design needs to serve and the relationship between the design and its user.
