A Refined, Architectural Sun Lounge with a Deep Tonal Expression

The Alvor Sun Lounge by Bent Design Studio is shaped by clean geometry, slender proportions and a closely considered charcoal palette. Its Matt Charcoal powdercoated aluminium frame creates a precise rectangular outline around the dark grey mesh sling, resulting in a low, visually light silhouette that feels composed from every angle. Measuring 190cm long and 70cm wide, with a height of 33cm, Alvor has an elongated form that sits close to the ground and gives the design a distinctly architectural presence. The relationship between the dark frame and coordinating sling creates a restrained tonal effect, allowing the simplicity of the silhouette to come forward. Integrated wheels are incorporated into the design for easier repositioning, adding functionality while maintaining the clarity of its overall form.

Matt Charcoal Aluminium and Dark Grey Mesh with Optional Headrest Designs

Designed by Javan Fan and manufactured by Bent Design Studio, Alvor combines a Matt Charcoal powdercoated aluminium frame with a dark grey coated polyester mesh sling. The sunlounge arrives fully assembled and can be selected in its pared-back form without a headrest, or configured with one of two Granite Grey Olefin fabric headrests with foam inners. The strap headrest uses a stainless steel weighted back to hold its position, while the magnetic version incorporates four 50 x 50mm magnets. These two options introduce an additional layer of cushioning and material contrast while retaining the clean character of the design. Together, the charcoal aluminium, dark mesh and Granite Grey fabric create a cohesive palette suited to considered contemporary outdoor spaces.
