A Sculptural Sun Lounge Defined by Flowing Lines and a Deep Charcoal Palette

The Amalfi Charcoal Sun Lounge by Bent Design brings a more fluid expression to outdoor furniture, moving away from strict rectangular geometry in favour of a gently shaped, continuous profile. The Matt Charcoal powdercoated aluminium frame follows the dark grey mesh sling from the raised backrest through to the low-set lounging surface, creating a cohesive tonal composition. Measuring 201cm long and 73cm wide, with a height of 33cm, Amalfi has an elongated silhouette balanced by slender angled legs and a softly rounded back. Warm teak detailing at the wheels creates a subtle material contrast against the charcoal aluminium and mesh. Five backrest settings allow the shape to shift through different reclining positions, adding flexibility while retaining the clarity of Javan Fan's design.

Designed by Javan Fan and manufactured by Bent Design Studio, Amalfi combines a Matt Charcoal powdercoated aluminium frame with a dark grey coated polyester mesh sling. Teak and aluminium wheels are integrated at the rear, bringing both a contrasting material detail and practical mobility to the 24.4kg design. The sunlounge arrives fully assembled and can be specified without a headrest or paired with one of two Granite Grey Olefin fabric headrests, each with a foam inner. The strap version uses a stainless steel weighted back, while the magnetic version incorporates four 50 x 50mm magnets. These optional elements introduce additional softness while complementing Amalfi's charcoal palette and distinctive flowing form.
