Designed by Anderssen & Voll for Muuto, the Connect Soft Modular Sofa explores the meeting point between structured geometry and inviting comfort. Configuration 2 pairs broad, low-set seating with an asymmetric composition, placing an upholstered arm to one side while leaving the opposite side open. The result feels architectural yet relaxed, with clean horizontal and vertical lines softened by generous upholstery and rounded edges. Its Clay 12 upholstery gives the sofa a light, tonal expression that allows the proportions and modular construction to take focus. At 207 cm wide, the two-seater creates a substantial presence while its low 69 cm height keeps the overall profile grounded. As part of the wider Connect Soft system, the design can also be combined with additional modules to create evolving layouts for different spaces.

Comfort Within the Structure

The Connect Soft Modular Sofa is built around FSC™-certified wood seat and back frames. The back is padded with cold foam and wadding, while the seat combines zig-zag springs, felt, cold foam and wadding to create its deep, softly cushioned character. Metal brackets connect the individual modules, supporting the flexible modular concept behind the collection. This configuration measures 99 cm deep, with a generous 66 cm seat depth and low 40 cm seat height that reinforce its relaxed proportions. Anderssen & Voll's design allows structure and softness to work together, while the broader Connect Soft collection offers flexible angles and modules for creating more individual and playful compositions.
