Designed by Anderssen & Voll for Muuto, the Doze Leather Lounge Chair with Swivel Base in Cognac translates the generous character of the Doze collection into a lower, more compact silhouette. The broad backrest flows into softly curved arms, while layered cushioning gives the chair its inviting, enveloping expression. Warm Cognac leather accentuates the curves and stitched edges, contrasted by the graphic form of the dark swivel base below. The scaled-down profile also makes the chair easier to position within different lounge settings, including arrangements where multiple chairs share the space.
Refine Leather and a swivel base
Upholstered in Cognac Refine Leather, the Doze is constructed with moulded foam and wadding around an embedded steel frame. The non-removable upholstery follows the chair’s softly contoured shape, while the swivel base is made from powder-coated cast aluminium in Anthracite Black with black plastic glides. Measuring 78cm high, 95.5cm wide and 86cm deep, with a 40cm seat height, its proportions balance a generous seat with a relatively low overall profile. The swivel function adds another practical dimension, allowing the chair to change orientation without disrupting its position within the room.
