Designed by Anderssen & Voll for Muuto, the Connect Soft Modular Corner Sofa Configuration 1 takes the collection’s geometric proportions into a generous L-shaped arrangement. Broad, low seating extends around the corner, framed by softly rounded backrests and upholstered arms that give the composition definition without interrupting its relaxed horizontal lines. The extended section provides plenty of room to stretch out, while the main run offers generous seating for conversation and everyday lounging. Upholstered throughout in Clay 12, the tonal finish creates a cohesive expression across the individual modules and brings the subtle curves of the upholstery into focus. Comfortably accommodating around five people, Configuration 1 makes a confident centrepiece for larger living rooms and open-plan interiors where its scale can help define the seating area.

Deep Comfort within a Modular Structure

Muuto’s Connect Soft system combines geometric structure with deeply inviting comfort, using a broad selection of modules and flexible angles to create adaptable layouts. The seat and back frames are made from FSC™-certified wood, with cold foam and wadding padding the back. Zig-zag springs, felt, cold foam and wadding form the deep seat cushioning, while metal brackets connect the individual modules. This configuration measures 282.5 cm wide and 298.5 cm deep, with a low overall height of 69 cm. A 40 cm seat height and generous 66 cm seat depth reinforce the sofa’s relaxed proportions, creating space to settle back while maintaining the clear architectural character of Anderssen & Voll’s design.
