Designed by Anderssen & Voll for Muuto, the Connect Soft Modular Corner Sofa Configuration 2 extends the collection’s structured geometry into a generous L-shaped composition. Broad seating runs across both sides of the corner, with upholstered backrests and arms defining the arrangement while maintaining the low, horizontal character of the design. The softly rounded cushioning creates a considered contrast with the substantial modular base, giving this larger configuration an inviting rather than imposing presence. Upholstered throughout in Clay 12, its cohesive tonal finish further emphasises the shape and rhythm of the individual modules. With seating for around five people, plus generous space to stretch out along the extended section, Configuration 2 is well suited to larger living rooms and open-plan interiors where the sofa can anchor a dedicated gathering space.

Modular Structure, Deep Comfort

Connect Soft is conceived as a flexible modular system, balancing clear geometric proportions with deeply inviting comfort. Its seat and back frames are made using FSC™-certified wood, with cold foam and wadding in the back and a combination of zig-zag springs, felt, cold foam and wadding within the seat. Metal brackets connect the individual elements to create the larger composition. Configuration 2 measures 282.5 cm wide and 298.5 cm deep, with a low 69 cm overall height. A 40 cm seat height and generous 66 cm seat depth reinforce its relaxed character, providing plenty of room to settle back. Anderssen & Voll’s design keeps the substantial proportions visually composed, using repeated modules and softly defined edges to create a sofa that feels both architectural and approachable.
