Designed by Iskos-Berlin for Muuto, the Fiber Armchair brings a softer, more embracing character to the classic shell chair. Its curved seat wraps gently around the body, with integrated armrests creating a continuous silhouette that feels generous without taking up unnecessary space. In this cognac edition, the warm leather upholstery gives the chair a rich, tactile presence, balanced by the lighter tone and slender proportions of the oak wood base. The combination works particularly well around a dining table, while its compact footprint also lends itself to meeting spaces or as an occasional chair within a considered interior.

Material contrast with a considered foundation

Beneath the upholstery, the Fiber Chair shell is made from Muuto's composite of wood fibres and 100% recycled plastic, bringing a distinctive material approach to the familiar shell-chair form. This version is finished in cognac Refine leather, paired with an oak wood base and plastic glides. Measuring 77 cm high, 54.5 cm wide and 56 cm deep, with a 46 cm seat height and 46 cm seat depth, its proportions balance supportive armchair comfort with a relatively compact form.
