Designed by Iskos-Berlin for Muuto, the Fiber Side Chair takes the familiar shell chair in a more dynamic direction with its distinctive swivel base. The armless shell follows a fluid curve from the rounded backrest into the seat, creating a clean, continuous silhouette. Cognac Refine leather brings warmth and tactile character to the form, contrasted by the graphic lines of the anthracite black base. Its four-star configuration gives the chair a strong architectural foundation while maintaining a visually light expression, making it a considered choice for dining, meeting and workspace settings where greater freedom of movement is useful.

Material innovation in a compact form

The Fiber collection is shaped around Muuto's innovative shell composition of wood fibres and 100% recycled plastic, here concealed beneath the cognac Refine leather upholstery. The chair is supported by an anthracite black swivel base and finished with plastic glides. At 77 cm high, 47.5 cm wide and 53 cm deep, it maintains compact proportions, with a seat height of 46 cm and seat depth of 45 cm. The combination of a softly upholstered shell and angular swivel base creates a clear interplay between curved and linear forms.
