Designed by Mika Tolvanen for Muuto, the Restore Basket takes a considered approach to everyday storage. Its softly rounded rectangular form is defined by curved sides and subtle pointed details along the upper edge, giving the basket a distinctive silhouette without overcomplicating its purpose. In Dark Brown, the deep, earthy colour brings visual warmth and works easily alongside timber, neutral upholstery and other natural tones. Generously proportioned, it can be positioned beside a sofa, under a console or wherever accessible storage is useful, while integrated cut-out handles make the design easy to grasp.

Recycled Fibres, Tactile Finish

The Restore Basket is crafted from fibres made using 100% recycled plastic, creating its characteristic soft, felt-like appearance. The material complements the basket’s curved profile, giving a practical storage piece a more tactile and furniture-minded quality. Measuring 48cm wide, 35cm long and 23cm high, its open form provides useful capacity while keeping contents within easy reach. The combination of thoughtful proportions, rich Dark Brown colouring and a clean aesthetic reflects Huset’s preference for well-designed pieces that bring function and character into the interior.
